flour-ish /ˈflərish / verb 1. grow or develop in a healthy or vigorous way, especially as the result of a particularly nourishing environment. "wild plants flourish on the banks of the lake" synonyms: grow, thrive, prosper, do well, burgeon, increase, multiply, proliferate, bloom

At times, even when we want to change, it can be hard to get started. Moving at Your Pace offers the structure and accountability of weekly coaching sessions and the support of taking literal steps forward.

walking while coaching

This 7-week coaching series involves meeting weekly (in-person at Green Lake Park in North Seattle, or virtually by phone). The 70-minute session will include 60 minutes of walking while coaching and 10 minutes of reflection and setting goals. You'll have support in clarifying a vision and designing weekly steps that build toward sustainable change.

being creative

In addition to the many physical benefits of walking, studies have shown an increase in creative ideas as a result of walking at a lower intensity - by taking a casual stroll. The boost in creativity continues even after the walk is over. One of steps for creating change involves developing possibility thinking, especially when we find ourselves repeating the same patterns that aren't working for us.

According to Wellness Coaching for Lasting Lifestyle Change, "People found that having an ally who could engage them in possibility thinking, hold them accountable to complete their plans and challenge them to be their very best resulted in real growth, real movement and often, career or business success as well." practicing mindfulness & compassion

In each session we'll practice mindfulness as a way to be centered and in-tune with what matters to you most in the moment. We'll cultivate an atmosphere of self-compassion and unravel the tendencies that can lead to self-sabotage. Even if you've been feeling frustrated or stuck, moving toward sustainable change is possible by designing a clear vision and actionable steps allowing you to build on success.
